Someone from the Emerald Branch just visited us with information they thought we might be able to use.

“We have contacts among the serving staff in the palace. We are told there were many heated arguments in the Imperial apartments last night.”

So I guess they got my messages.

And yeah, I am pretty fucking sure we can make use of that.

(Imperial Vault, Mid-Morning)

I don’t have a lot of time.

The Imperial Vault is guarded by a sovereign fucking dragon named Teikono. A sovereign dragon that has agreed to destroy the gods-be-damned coin when we’re ready to be rid of it.

The Imperial Vault also holds the other four Imperial Seals. The Seals that can start new family lines.

There’s a catch. Teikono agrees with what we’re trying to do, but he is honor-bound to serve the throne—and thus guard the Seals—no matter who sits on it. So to get them now? We need to go through him.

Except we don’t want to fight Teikono. Because he’s an honor-bound sovereign fucking dragon.

But that’s OK, because we realized we don’t need the Seals to take the throne. So fuck it. We’re going with Plan B.
